Graduates of this course are able to combine their advanced skills of enquiry, critical analysis, and logic with their knowledge of the human services field. It prepares graduates to take leadership positions and make well informed decisions with the purpose of improving service delivery and practice. Graduates at the Master level will also be able to contribute to knowledge building through practice and or research.

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary issues and challenges, along with future directions in human services;

Demonstrate advanced practice knowledge and develop skills that are required to effectively and efficiently lead or manage their organisations (professional practice);

Analyse, plan and implement social policies to enhance the quality of human services;

Demonstrate critical, ethical, analytical and reflective leadership skills which is informed by theory policy and research;

Collaborate effectively across disciplinary boundaries and social settings utilising digital technology and media in promoting the rights, health, wellbeing and social inclusion of the client group and community;

The Master, Graduate Diploma [Exit Point Only] and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.
