Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of the scope and breadth of laws concerned with the care and protection of children and adolescents, including law in the area of family violence;
2.
be able to demonstrate detailed understanding of the law in relation to promoting and protecting the rights and needs of children and adolescents; and
3.
be able to demonstrate awareness of of deficiencies in the law and have some knowledge of the processes of, and trends in, law reform.
