Overview

The Graduate Certificate aims to equip both current and aspiring health managers and leaders, with an understanding of contemporary health management contexts as well as an ability to create and work towards an affirmative vision for tomorrow’s health services. An analysis of internal and external influences on health services adds to this understanding and together with an appreciation of management and leadership theory, a solid base is created for health management and leadership practice. There is emphasis on practicing health management and leadership with resilience and efficacy, in an evidence-based way and through the application of well-developed approaches to communication and collaboration.
