Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
reflect and critically analyse on their own competency development as a lifelong learner;
2.
explore strategies for self-management and adaptability that contribute to resilience in practice;
3.
evaluate their leadership and advocacy capabilities to identify opportunities and apply these in health care contexts;
4.
critically analyse professional practice in the context of relevant legal requirements, practice standards, and ethical and sustainable approaches; and
5.
build effective interprofessional partnerships and teams to enable collective reasoning which enhances the health and wellbeing of people.

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy;
Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine;
Bachelor of Physiotherapy;
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours);
Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours); 
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours); 
Master of Social Work; or
Bachelor of Social Work.

Pre-requisites are:
Physiotherapy students: (PHS416 or PHS417 or PHS418) or PHS401
Podiatry students: (POD309 or POD310)
Occupational Therapy students: (OCC321 or OCC331)
Master of Social Work: Nil pre-reqs
Bachelor of Social Work: HCS202
