Applying and reflecting on communication skills;Appropriate professional behaviour in different contexts;Assessment and enabling strategies;Intervention planning and evaluation;Reflective practice;Ensuring portfolio provides evidence of competency development;Advanced fieldwork preparation; andThis subject will include one seven-week period of workplace learning.

Enrolment restrictions

Students must be enrolled in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.

Work integrated learning

Placement Duration 240 hours Details Applying and reflecting on communication skills;Appropriate professional behaviour in different contexts;Assessment and enabling strategies;Intervention planning and evaluation;Demonstrating very good reflection on practice;Ensuring portfolio provides evidence of competency development; andAdvanced fieldwork preparation.The 32 days of placement will be undertaken over a 7 week period.
