Abstract

In this subject, students complete their second supervised occupational therapy workplace learning experience. The workplace learning experience will last for seven weeks; students must complete a minimum of 32 days in this time. This workplace learning experience focuses on working with individuals who experience occupational dysfunction and/or may focus on planning or implementing an occupation-focused project. The workplace learning experience provides students with the opportunity to manage their own caseload and to practice and consolidate their assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills. Students will also develop and consolidate critical evaluation and reflective practice skills. Students are required to pass this placement and related assessment items to pass this subject.

Enrolment restrictions

Students must be enrolled in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
