Overview

The aim of this course is to build the capacity of students to act as leaders in private, public and not-for-profit organisations. The course aims to develop self-aware and reflective practitioners who can engage in the successful, inspirational and ethical pursuit of goals that meet the needs of changing social and organisational environments. Leadership capabilities will be developed during the course through understanding of advanced theoretical knowledge and its practical application to enhance organisational performance, drive change and create social impact.
The course explores contemporary relational leadership perspectives inviting students to reflect and articulate their own leadership values and philosophy to contribute to their organisation’s strategy and culture. The course provides students with a framework they can develop in their real-world work context by integrating personal core values with their roles as leaders.

Alternative exit options

The Master, Graduate Diploma [Exit Point Only] and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.
