Syllabus

This subject will cover the following topics: Safe and competent practice in a broad range of physiotherapy skills;Clinical reasoning and problem solving processes;Critical appraisal of knowledge and skills;Application of knowledge and skills in the workplace;Self-appraisal of professional practice capabilities;Professional practice roles and responsibilities; andLeadership in clinical practice.

Placement Duration 160 hours Details Students will assessed using the national competency assessment tool, the APP and on successful completion of the placement will have demonstrated safe and effective professional practice in the allocated placement setting and client context. 25 days (approx 160hrs)

Students attending compulsory workplace learning placements are responsible for all associated travel, uniform, accommodation and required resources. Students must meet pre-clinical requirements prior to undertaking workplace learning placements.
