Overview
This microcredential will provide out of field teachers with curriculum knowledge in Mathematics. Graduates will be eligible for credit into the Bachelor of Educational Studies (Additional Teaching Area) where students can further develop their mathematics skills and knowledge.

Credit for the microcredential will be applied to two undergraduate subjects (EMM441 Curriculum Method 1: Mathematics and EMM442 Curriculum Method 2: Mathematics). These are subjects in the undergraduate Bachelor of Educational Studies (Additional Teaching Area).
Once the microcredential is successfully completed (and assessed), credit will be provided upon enrolment into the Bachelor of Educational Studies (Additional Teaching Area). The Bachelor of Educational Studies (Additional Teaching Area) is an AQF level 7 Award.
Successful participants can then complete additional mathematics subjects to effectively teach mathematics in secondary schools.
