Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to explain the value of reflection in the ongoing development of professional expertise;
2.
be able to explain a number of theories of reflection;
3.
be able to use a theory of reflection to examine own professional practice;
4.
be able to explain a number of continuing professional learning approaches and their usefulness in relation to lifelong learning;
5.
be able to analyse classroom and/or workplace environments for their learning potential; and
6.
be able to reflect on their own professional practice in the context of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116).
Assumed knowledge
Students will have completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116), or a supervised teaching placement, prior to commencing this subject.
Enrolment restrictions
This subject is not available to students who have completed EEB441.
