Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
analyse their individual learning and development priorities and develop a professional development plan to guide their professional practice;
2.
plan and design quality teaching and learning experiences that are informed by a scholarly understanding of student diversity, using disciplinary, practice-based, and multi-modal pedagogies to enhance the learner experience;
3.
design and evaluate assessment tasks to demonstrate constructive alignment within the subject, as well as alignment with institutional policies and a recognition of student diversity;
4.
critically evaluate the social, cultural and historical dimensions of teaching in Higher Education in Australia using Indigenist Standpoint methodology;
5.
demonstrate reflective practice, professionalism, and academic integrity to make informed judgements and decisions on the student learning experience.
Enrolment restrictions
The subject may be a requirement for CSU academic staff on probation and is restricted to participants who are working within the higher education system, or in education support roles.
