Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to develop an ongoing professional development plan, informed by experience and scholarship;
2.
be able to plan and design quality teaching and learning experiences that are informed by a scholarly understanding of student learning and pedagogies;
3.
be able to demonstrate effective preparation and performance in teaching and supporting student learning that is informed by scholarship and reflective practice;
4.
be able to evaluate and revise assessment tasks to demonstrate alignment with CSU policies and scholarly practices;
5.
be able to reflect on their learning from the Indigenous Cultural Competency Program and its influence on their teaching ideals and practices; and
6.
be able to reflect on their learning experiences and demonstrate their achievement of the subject learning outcomes.

Enrolment restrictions

This subject is restricted to CSU academic staff and others teaching CSU subjects or supervising CSU students, such as staff from the School of Policing Studies, Study Centre staff and workplace learning supervisors.

The subject may be a requirement for CSU academic staff on probation.
