The syllabus consists of 3 modules:

  • Work Integrated Learning
  • Assessment for Learning
  • Indigenist Standpoint Investigations

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
plan and design quality teaching and learning experiences within policing contexts, using policing specific disciplinary, practice-based, and multi-modal pedagogies to enhance the learner experience;
2.
evaluate and revise assessment tasks to demonstrate constructive alignment within the subject, alignment with institutional policies, and a recognition of student diversity;
3.
critically evaluate the social, cultural and historical dimensions of teaching in Higher Education in Australia using Indigenist Standpoint methodology.
