Overview
The Graduate Diploma of Customs Administration aims to qualify individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including Customs and other public sector agencies and businesses involved in cross border trade, to apply advanced knowledge and skills in a range of professional Customs Administration contexts. The program integrates technical skills with specialised customs administration theory and practice, and serves as a pathway to further learning.

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:
1.
Be able to demonstrate in-depth theoretical and technical knowledge of the principles and practices of customs administration including strategic policy, procedures and legislation
2.
Be able to demonstrate in-depth technical skills in traditional and topical aspects of international customs law and customs administration, together with a demonstrated competency to effectively apply complex customs administration policy and practice in the specialised context of cross border trade
3.
Be able to demonstrate an ability to exercise critical thinking and select and apply methods and technologies to analyse, generate and transmit solutions to complex problems relevant to customs administration and policy development in varied and specialised contexts
4.
Be able to demonstrate an ability to apply advanced knowledge and skills through personal autonomy, well-developed judgment, adaptability and responsibility as a customs administration practitioner or learner, to the management of cross-border trade
