Overview
The aim of the course is to equip students with the latest advances in emergency management knowledge and practice. Students apply their knowledge through industry and community based project work which involves the conduct of risk assessments, development of emergency management plans, and an analysis of the management of a major emergency event. In addition to the emergency planning and operations management core subjects, students study climate change impacts and GIS.
