Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

be able to identify the impacts that stress and trauma have on victims, emergency workers and individuals and identify appropriate interventions;

be able to analyse and evaluate the management of an emergency event in the post impact phase;
3.
be able to examine and analyse emergency management planning, response, and recovery practices; and
4.
be able to explain and apply the relevant legal, ethical, and governance requirements.
