Handbook

In this capstone subject, students' learning focuses on preparation for transition to graduate speech pathology practice. Students engage with a range of current topics in speech pathology and critique current practice, research and service delivery in relation to these. Students integrate understanding of current practice in Australian and overseas contexts with a focus on ethical reasoning and cultural responsiveness. Students also develop skills in interprofessional and supervisory practice, as well as designing, managing, and evaluating speech pathology programs and services. Students critically reflect on their competency development across the duration of the Master of Speech Pathology, and identify and justify ongoing professional learning goals in preparation for transition to the workplace.
