Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to critically evaluate research principles (research design, ethics, data collection, data analysis, interpretation and dissemination of findings) as they apply to speech pathology practice
2.
be able to critically analyse and reflect upon the application of the research principles to a specific practice-based problem or area of need
3.
be able to independently apply cognitive, technical and creative skills to synthesise problems from practice in order to plan, implement and evaluate an ethical and clinically relevant research project
