Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
explain and critically reflect on how international, professional and ethical frameworks guide and shape speech pathology practice;
2.
reflect critically on personal learning styles and language use in the context of learning theory and models of communication;
3.
reflect critically on personal skills related to professional conduct, ethical standards, life-long learning, and developing professional identity;
4.
identify and justify personal learning goals, and strategies for achieving those goals, based on integration of reflection on personal experiences, learning styles, language use and developing professional competency;
5.
use technical, creative and communication skills, including a range of academic and digital literacy skills, to communicate with non-specialist audiences; and
6.
engage in, contribute to, and critically reflect on group learning and feedback processes.
