Syllabus

Spatial science project design, management and reporting; Spatial database management; Iterative process design and flowcharting to solve spatial analysis problems; Foundational spatial analysis tool-development using a programming language; andMethods for quantifying uncertainty and error in spatial analysis.

Assumed knowledge

Background knowledge in Geographic Information Science and practical experience with GIS software equivalent to (SPA431 and SPA432) or (SPA215 and SPA308).
