Handbook

This subject extends students' knowledge of complex internalising and externalising disorders in children and adolescents. Students will examine the diagnostic classification, epidemiology and aetiology of a range of complex conditions, including traumatic stress disorders, eating disorders, psychosis and sleep disorders. The assessment, diagnosis and formulation of complex disorders will be discussed, and advanced techniques for treating these conditions will be introduced and evaluated.  Consideration of the unique challenges of specific populations and strategies to work in different ways with some of these groups will also be included.
