Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning processes which analyse assessment findings in relation to physiotherapy for chronic health conditions;
2.
plan and implement person centred, ethical, evidence based, collaborative, safe and effective individual and group physiotherapy, for people with chronic health conditions;
3.
recognise the complex and interrelated factors that may impact on the client, their needs and response to physiotherapy; including for clients in rural and remote settings;
4.
recognise situations outside their scope of practice; and describe and justify appropriate ways in which to respond to these situations;
5.
reflect on their performance in a manner that demonstrates professional growth; and
6.
demonstrate effective and professional communication to interact with patients/clients and other health professionals.

Restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours).
