The subject is designed for nursing leaders, clinicians and managers within aged care and will enable them to develop their leadership capacity in a way that leads to transformative change. Students will explore and integrate clinical governance principles with transformative leadership approaches that support their current or future roles as leaders and managers in aged-care facilities and services  Students will explore the role of the nurse leader in administering ethical, legal and professional standards in the aged-care setting and develop their ability to implement and evaluate quality improvement in their workplace.
