Handbook

Students are introduced to the diverse array of technology required for the medical radiation sciences. A basic technological introduction to x-ray production, radiation detection and radiation safety is undertaken. Students develop an understanding of the technological requirements of quality management, safety and standards. Students explore the principles of evidence based practice, sourcing appropriate information and assessing levels of information accuracy and reliability. Students will plan and commence their professional portfolio to support their development in their chosen specialisation.
