Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
describe the basic network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and FTP;
2.
capture and analyse network traffic using/employing network traffic analysis tools.
3.
conduct forensic analysis of network traffic and respond to security breaches and malware infections; and
4.
identify and analyse security incidents on computer networks.
