Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

be able to discuss foundational assumptions and central principles and philosophies underpinning the provision of public library services to children and young adults;
2.
be able to analyse and utilise resources and organisations relating to diverse communities to inform the design of services for children and young adults in public libraries;
3.
be able to evaluate and design library environments to enable access and engagement with information services and resources for children and young adults;
4.
be able to identify and apply legislation and other relevant government and community requirements and expectations relating to information services for children and young adults in public libraries; and
5.
be able to assess administrative processes and considerations as they apply to information services for children and young adults.
