This subject will develop students' capacity to lead practice improvement in their area of clinical practice, with a focus on conducting a literature review and developing a practice improvement proposal. Students will identify a healthcare issue that has practical applications within their specific area of practice and then develop a proposal for an independent, low-risk, practice or quality improvement project. With guidance from the subject coordinator or discipline specific delegate, students will complete a comprehensive literature review on the selected topic before using the findings to inform the development of a proposal for a practice or quality improvement project.
