Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

apply mathematical knowledge, skills and processes across a wide range of topic areas to solve appropriate real-world problems and scenarios

communicate mathematical ideas, reasoning and solutions, clearly and effectively using appropriate symbols, notation and conventions

describe and model patterns in mathematical terms
