Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

be able to apply leadership theories to healthy and safe environments in early childhood;

be able to examine the complexities of leading healthy and safe learning environments in early childhood;
3.
be able to recognise the mandated policies that safeguard and promote healthy and safe environments in early childhood;
4.
be able to identify and describe strategies that support children's health, safety and well-being in early childhood contexts;
5.
be able to examine specific health, safety and well-being issues in the early childhood context; and
6.
be able to apply the Healthy Promoting Schools model to the early childhood context.
