Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to research, plan, develop and pitch a complex digital artefact of relevance to professional practice;
2.
be able to critically reflect upon the role of social and digital media in society, including major ethical concerns;
3.
be able to critically reflect on appropriate research and evaluation methodologies for defining and working with digital media audiences and users;
4.
be able to examine the impact of emerging models for media creation, distribution and consumption upon existing media, communication, and creative industries; and
5.
be able to demonstrate key project and product development principles in the design of a complex, experimental digital artefact.
