Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to define, evaluate, and reflect on employability skills and graduate attributes;
2.
be able to develop practical competence through personal professional experience by participating in work placement;
3.
be able to prepare an effective job application;
4.
be able to explore and enhance personal brand development through academic application and self-development; and
5.
be able to explore, develop and evaluate a personal career plan.

Not Available to Study Centre students. Study Centre students will enrol in BUS224.

Work integrated learning

Placement Duration 35 hours Details Students are given the opportunity to develop their employability skills through 35 hours of activity completed as: a work placement with a new host organisation or a new project or higher duties undertaken with a current employer.
