<p>This subject introduces students to the principles and practices of water resources and environmental engineering, focusing on the interaction between human activities and water and wastewater resources and the environment. Topics covered include hydrology and hydraulics, water distribution systems, wastewater treatment, air pollution control, solid waste management, and environmental impact assessment. Emphasis is placed on understanding water supply and distribution, wastewater management, and environmental issues, exploring sustainable engineering solutions, and applying engineering principles to protect and preserve environmental quality. </p>
