Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to critically discuss policy making processes and the roles organisations and institutions play in them;
2.
be able to apply knowledge and skills to formulate issues and place them on the agenda of policy makers;
3.
be able to critically discuss knowledge and skills of policy analysis and analyse policies; and
4.
be able to analytically explain changes and challenges in the field of social policy.

Enrolment restrictions

This subject is only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) Integrated Honours.
This subject is not available to students who have completed SPE502 as it is a paired subject.
