Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to develop and defend a research proposal with reasoned argument drawing on the relevant literature;
2.
be able to justify and defend the overall research design and attenuate potential ethical issues, and demonstrate a critical understanding of the limitations of the method/s selected;
3.
be able to identify and critically reflect on the importance to professional practice of unresolved research problems in the particular area of research; and
4.
be able to communicate, in a seminar situation, the potential benefit, relevance and significance of the outcomes of the research to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
