Handbook

This subject describes the dominant research methodologies applied to researching professional practice. Students then engage with qualitative and quantitative research methods focusing on data collection, data analysis, interpretation and evaluation issues. Students will prepare a research plan incorporating a critique of existing knowledge, appropriate research methodology, suitable data collection and analysis techniques and an outline of the ethical issues specific to their research. Students engage with research traditions and paradigms relevant to their discipline.
