Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to identify the characteristics of the common emotional and behavioural disorders in childhood and adolescence;
2.
be able to employ reliable and valid methods of assessing children and adolescents with psychological disorders;
3.
be able to develop and implement cognitive-behavioural interventions for a range of emotional and behavioural disorders; and
4.
be able to critically evaluate research concerning the efficacy of psychological therapies with children and adolescents.
