PSY472 Psychology Research Thesis 1 and PSY473 Psychology Research Thesis 2, together, aim  to facilitate students' understanding of research literacy and foundational elements underpinning different approaches to research in psychology. PSY473 provides students with a mentored research experience developing knowledge and skills to demonstrate competency in analysis of relevant literature, formulate a research question and design a research-based project. Students will learn about research ethics, research methods, and research report writing. They will develop skills in critical review and appraisal, theory development and testing, and study design, written communication in the form of an APA format substantive research report.
