Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
integrate and apply knowledge gained from academic subjects for a range of clients within the specific clinical setting;
2.
demonstrate achievement of the standards required of an entry level physiotherapist as defined by the Physiotherapy Practice Thresholds in Australia and Aotearoa, New Zealand (2023) relevant to the clinical setting;
3.
articulate and demonstrate their achievement of entry-level competency relevant to the clinical setting;
4.
effectively integrate skills in assessment, clinical reasoning, planning and implementation of physiotherapy management for a range of clients within the specific clinical setting; and
5.
deliver effective physiotherapy management to a range of clients who present with complex care needs.

Placement Duration 160 hours Details This workplace learning experience is a capstone clinical placement in which students will be expected to attain the level of graduate entry practice and will be assessed against the Australian Physiotherapy Standards. 25 days (approx 160hrs)

Students attending compulsory workplace learning placements are responsible for all associated travel, uniform, accommodation and required resources. Students must meet pre-clinical requirements prior to undertaking workplace learning placements.
