Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
demonstrate ethical, safe and effective person-centred physiotherapy management and describe the role of other health professionals for a range of clinical presentations including people living in rural and remote regions;
2.
use clinical reasoning processes to set goals for client recovery;
3.
communicate effectively in written and verbal forms with clients and colleagues, in the planning and implementation of physiotherapy management strategies ;
4.
use evidence based practice and information to develop and guide development of their own knowledge;
5.
explain the business of physiotherapy in local and global settings and sustainable practice in the context of physiotherapy;
6.
demonstrate foundational collaborative practice skills as a basis for teamwork and interprofessional practice; and
7.
outline the role of a physiotherapist across the lifespan.
