Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
access and appraise relevant evidence to generate evidence-informed hypotheses to describe the impact health conditions may have on occupational participation;
2.
apply and justify a professional decision-making process for working with a diverse range of individual clients and contexts;
3.
access, appraise and apply contemporary theory and evidence to develop occupation-focused strategies/interventions to enable the occupational participation of individuals;
4.
interpret and apply findings from assessments and observations to develop person-centred, occupation-based interventions to facilitate occupational participation;
5.
demonstrate a person-centred, culturally responsive, and respectful approach to occupational therapy practice; and
6.
demonstrate professional responsibility through engaging in self-reflection, and responding to feedback.
