Module 1: Potential and Actual Alterations in Skin Perfusion and Integrity.Module 2: Potential and Actual Alteration in Bowel and Urinary Function.Module 3: Health History and Assessment.Module 4: Documentation of Assessment and Nursing Care.Module 5: Peri-operative Care.Module 6: Medication Foundation Skills.Module 7: Health Education.

Enrolment restrictions

Only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing course and Bachelor of Nursing - Graduate Diploma of Clinical Practice (Paramedic).

Work integrated learning

Placement Duration 80 hours Details This is an introductory workplace learning component (10 days) where students are introduced to the role of the nurse, basic assessment, wound dressing and medication management in an actual workplace.
