Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to evaluate and apply project recovery techniques to investigate and correct a failing project;
2.
be able to predict and analyse interpersonal challenges and apply appropriate resolution techniques;
3.
be able to investigate the business justification of a project and manage benefits realisation;
4.
be able to predict and analyse typical and likely challenges of the core project constraints, and to devise and apply preventative and corrective techniques;
5.
be able to identify and predict likely sources of project risk and to devise mitigation and avoidance strategies for them; and
6.
be able to analyse and integrate information from the appropriate literature on emerging trends in project management leadership.
