Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to critically evaluate the relevance and function of the PMI® Project Management Body of Knowledge;
2.
be able to compare and critically analyse the role and function of each of the core project process groups (budget, scope, risk, schedule, resources, quality);
3.
be able to identify and predict risks and challenges to effective project management in a business context;
4.
be able to identify project stakeholders and analyse their influence on a project;
5.
be able to create a Scope of Work (SoW) and to formulate a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); and
6.
be able to use project management tools and methods to manage project outcomes.
