Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

be able to explain the meaning of strategic human resource management and the role human resource managers should play in carrying out the strategic objectives of the organisation;
2.
be able to analyse and evaluate an organisation's business strategy to produce informed, relevant and well-communicated business advice relating to the application of ethical and sustainable strategic human resource management;
3.
be able to identify crucial stakeholders at all levels (internally and externally), make informed decisions, influence outcomes, and offer input into business strategy; and
4.
be able to evaluate human resource management strategies to determine impact and outcomes on overall business short and long term strategies.
