Handbook

This subject provides the student with experiential learning through guided scenarios/role plays to both understand and expand one's positionality when engaging with individuals, groups, cultures, collectives, communities and society. It provides an opportunity for the student to consider inclusion and diversity through an intersectional approach to practice.

The subject will cover the following topics:

• Unpacking privilege - being comfortable and uncomfortable with privilege
• How are you unique as an individual - mind maps, diversity of thinking, different frameworks, acquired diversity, networks, capability, knowledge
• Undertaking the intersectionality Walk
