Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to identify a natural resource and define natural resources management;
2.
be able to discuss a range of natural resource management issues and approaches to managing them;
3.
be able to explain the importance of Indigenous Australian natural resource management;
4.
be able to review and discuss the roles of natural resource policy mechanisms and tools; and
5.
be able to apply knowledge and skills to explain the human dimensions underpinning natural resource management.
Enrolment restrictions
Students who have completed either PKM160 or GEO105 may not enrol in this subject.
