Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

Apply their knowledge of student learning, curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting to plan and justify learning sequences
2.
Create learning goals that provide achievable challenges for all students
3.
Assess student learning through informal and formal, diagnostic, formative and summative approaches
4.
Identify processes for timely and appropriate feedback to students about their learning
5.
Critically reflect on assessment moderation and its application to support consistent and comparable judgements of student learning
6.
Analyse and evaluate student assessment data and appropriately modify teaching programs
7.
Identify strategies for reporting to students and parents/carers
8.
Apply fitness for purpose and principles of inclusion in assessment design
