This subject introduces students to the theory and research surrounding a range of transnational crimes, focusing on human trafficking and the organised groups involved in these cross-border crimes.  The subject will consider the criminal supply and demand factors involved and contemporary and emerging issues such as the cross-border exploitation of vulnerable women and children.  Regulatory border responses will be evaluated.
