Abstract
A study of advanced instrumental methods, techniques and applications for chemical analysis, covering topics such as theory and practice of advanced high performance liquid and gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, hyphenated chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques, infrared spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance.
Syllabus
This subject will cover the following topics:
Unit 1 Advanced Chromatographic Techniques;Sample preparation techniques relevant to chromatographic analyses;Theory and applications of gas and liquid chromatography techniques;Unit 2 Organic Spectroscopy;Nuclear magnetic resonance;Infrared spectroscopy; andMass spectrometry.
