Handbook

This subject extends students’ previous education and experience to advance the knowledge and skills needed to provide critical care paramedicine for medical emergencies. Students will further develop their ability to integrate assessment and diagnostic data, knowledge of relevant anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and evidence-informed practice to propose critical care paramedicine treatment plans. To foster the clinical reasoning skills required in critical care paramedicine, students will integrate critical thinking and decision-making strategies and written communication skills as part of managing medical emergencies.
