This subject will cover the following topics: System-specific anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology;Medical emergencies by system;Diagnostics for medical emergencies;Medical patient assessment and history-taking;Critical care paramedic treatment for medical emergencies;Pharmacology relevant to medical emergencies;Applied clinical reasoning and communication; andDecision-making strategies and critical thinking.
