<p>This subject defines and examines the nature of pastoral counselling in relation to trauma and crisis intervention. A background to understanding trauma and its potential impact on individuals is given. Models of crisis intervention are examined, together with appropriate pastoral responses, skills training and professional issues.</p>

<p>Restricted to students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Pastoral Counselling, Master of Pastoral Counselling, Master of Pastoral Counselling (Clinical) and Master of Ministry who have met the required prerequisites.</p>
